Pause to Unpause
From Overwhelmed to Balanced
Managing Stress in Perimenopause, Menopause & Beyond
Wednesday
6th May,
7:00pm-8:30pm
Woollahra Sailing Club
A warm and practical evening for women who want to better understand their bodies, feel calmer and restore a sense of balance during this stage of life.
Many women find that stress feels harder to manage during perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Hormonal changes, busy lives, family responsibilities and the emotional load of holding everything together can leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or constantly “on edge.”
Often we don’t realise how much stress we’re carrying until our bodies start pushing back.
Our guest expert this month is Tracy Whitton, a psychotherapist with many years’ experience helping people understand and regulate their nervous systems. Tracy will explore why stress often builds during this stage of life - and what we can do to restore balance.
In this session we’ll explore
Why stress often feels harder during perimenopause and menopause
The hidden emotional and mental load many women carry in midlife and beyond
How chronic stress and burnout show up in the body
Early signs your system may be overwhelmed
Simple ways to pause, reset and restore balance
You’ll leave with
