Join us for an evening of insight, calm, and connection - this time focusing on gut health in midlife.

As estrogen declines in perimenopause and menopause, many women notice changes in digestion, food tolerance, energy, and mood. A key factor is the gut microbiome - the trillions of bacteria that influence hormones, immunity, weight, and emotional wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore how gut health shifts in midlife, and how diet and lifestyle choices can support digestion, energy, and overall wellbeing.

Guest Speaker:
Emma Ellice-Flint

Emma Ellice-Flint is a qualified nutritionist, nutritional therapist, and experienced chef. She has worked alongside Dr. Louise Newson, one of the UK’s leading menopause specialists, and is passionate about helping women use nutrition to support hormone health, gut function, and overall wellbeing.

Emma will share practical insights on:

  • How estrogen shifts impact your digestion and gut bacteria

  • Key signs your gut needs support in midlife

  • The role of food and fibre in restoring balance

  • Why poor gut health impacts weight in midlife, and what you can do about it

  • Why gut health affects mood, sleep, and resilience

  • Understanding new food intolerances in menopause

  • Which supplements and probiotics are worth considering

Janey Vi
Qualified Yoga and Meditation Teacher
& Sound Practitioner

We’ll begin the evening with a transformative Sound Bath led by Janey Vi, a qualified Yoga and Meditation Teacher and Sound Practitioner. She offers Sound Bath Meditation experiences using Tibetan gongs, crystal singing bowls, and exotic percussion to guide participants into deep relaxation that calms the mind and nurtures the spirit. Janey currently leads sound bath journeys across Sydney, creating a safe space for inner reflection, healing, and renewal.

Sound Bath healing is particularly powerful for managing stress and regulating the nervous system, helping the body shift into a state of deep rest, balance, and repair.
